How do I sign in to my family’s site?
Type in your family’s custom website name in the address bar of your web browser. If you can’t remember the name of your family’s custom website, check your inbox from the original email from eFamily. You can also email help@efamily.com and we'll help you find it.
Who approves family members?
Anyone in the family already can approve a new family member by visiting their members page.
How do I share a photo or video?
Click on the button on the right side of your screen that corresponds with what you’d like to share (i.e. “Share a photo”). Drag your photo/video into the box or click ‘select a photo’ button to browse your files.
How do I share a story?
Click on the button on the right side of your screen that says “Share a story”. You can change the title of the story by clicking on the words “Dear Family” or just start typing your story.
How do I create an album from Moments?
Click on the button on the right hand side of the screen that says “Create album”. Enter your album name. Now click on the button that corresponds to the place you’d like to add photos from (your computer, Facebook, Flickr, Picasa, etc.) and add your photos.
How do I delete or edit a moment?
Hover over the piece of content you would like to delete or edit. An X and a gear icon will appear in the corner.
What is the max upload size for videos and photos?
The max size per indvidual file is 300mb, but the upload will time out if it takes more than 5 minutes.
How do I create an album?
Click on the button on the right hand side of the screen that says “Create album”. Enter your album name. Now click on the button that corresponds to the place you’d like to add photos from (your computer, Facebook, Flickr, Picasa, etc.) and add your photos.
How do I delete a photo from an album?
Click on the photo that you’d like to delete and a ‘Delete photo’ button will appear in the lower righthand corner of your picture. Click on it. Confirm that you’d like to delete your photo.
How do I comment on a photo?
Click on the photo, then type your comment into the box on the right.
How do I edit an album title?
Click settings inside of an album.
How do I delete an entire album?
Hover over an album on the albums page that you created and an X will appear in the corner.
How do I share an album with my friends or family or somewhere else?
Click "Share" on the album that you wish to share and you'll be given 4 options: Email, Facebook, Twitter, or just a link. Sharing an album will let someone view the pictures in that album on a new page, but not access the site or any of the comments.
How do I invite a new family member to participate?
Click on the Members tab in the upper left corner of your screen. Now click on the ‘invite member’ button on the right side of your screen. Type in your family member's first and last name and their email address and an email will automatically be sent to them inviting them to join your family’s eFamily account.
How do I check to see if a family member joined?
Click on the Members tab and find the family member. If you can see a ‘nudge’ button, that means they have not yet joined. Click it to re-send an invitation.
How do I remove a family member?
The creator of the family site can delete members by hovering over their member profile and clicking the X in the corner.
